Planning
Business Moving - Relocating Your Offices
As
you have decided to relocate your office or entire
business, you should think about how long you want
it to take and what is involved.
At Tom-Williams Business Moving, we understand that
the key to a successful office removals is good planning,
research of your new office location and supervision
during the relocation.
To
begin the office removal and scheduling process we
need to look at the most efficient way to relocate
your business as smoothly as possible.
Tom-Williams Business Moving planning process is outlined
below.
Assess your requirements
We visit your current premises and assess your requirements.
We look at the premises you are moving from and the
premises you are relocating to. We work through a
checklist to ensure we have covered all aspects of
your relocation.
Carry out a survey and provide a quotations
We then provide you with a written quotation based
upon the specific criteria, and the elements involved
in moving to your new office location.
Planning Meetings
Depending upon your identified relocation requirements,
we will arrange an initial planning meeting to talk
through your move and begin to draw up the schedule
of relocation and removals programme. We then hold
regular meetings to refine the relocating programme
until the project commences. Contingency planning
is also important. We make sure this is in place in
order that you are prepared for any event that may
occur whilst relocating your offices.
Personnel Briefings
Your
personnel need to be involved in the moving process
- it is a time of change for them too! We hold brief
office relocation meetings with your personnel, and
provide them with information packs to help get them
ready. The packs include information on packing and
labelling crates, and packing safely.
Single Point of Contact
You will have a single point of contact throughout
your office relocation, giving a clear information
flow and management chain. This is especially important
if we are asked to manage other contractors for you.
Assess the relocation move
When your relocation is completed and your offices
have been moved, we meet with you to review the move.
Service is important to us, and we look at the quality
and service standards we set with you, to ensure that
they have been met.
We also take the opportunity to discuss any other
relocating or requirements you may have, either now
or in the future.
